From the moment you first set eyes upon the 2022 Subaru WRX, you know it's ready to attack the road with confidence. The body carries on its rally heart with flared wheeled arches in addition to an aggressive hood scoop and muscular stance. In addition, the front grille outlines a front facia that blends sleekness with athleticism.
Beneath the sculpted hood lies a new 2.4-liter twin-scroll turbocharged Subaru Boxer engine. The engine develops 271 horsepower with 258 pound-feet of torque. With the twin-scroll turbocharger, you get instant boost power from the moment you hit the accelerator.
To put all that power to the ground, the 2022 Subaru WRX features a standard six-speed manual transmission with a short-throw shifter, allowing you to take in maximum during your drive.
As an option, the available all-new Subaru Performance Transmission with paddle shifters. The eight-speed transmission gives you fingertip control to perform faster upshifts and downshifts while on the move. The transmission delivers performance-based shift logic that can make every daily drive an exciting adventure.
To keep all the power under control, the 2022 Subaru WRX offers a track-tuned suspension, delivering a fine balance of cornering and stability when taking on the roads outside of Marlborough. This balance comes courtesy of a stiffened chassis and upgraded dampers that bring stability when going through and exiting tight corners.
