Go on a Journey in a New Subaru Forester Wilderness
The new Subaru Forester Wilderness can help you to explore new frontiers. This particular vehicle is now equipped with a revised drivetrain for lower-speed travel, and its off-road capability has been enhanced even more to tackle rough terrain. Trail-tested confidence is the name of the game, whether traveling on gravel, grass, sand, or mud. You won't even have to worry about damaging the SUV's underbelly, thanks to its high ground clearance of 9.2 inches. The new Subaru Forester Wilderness will come equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and all-terrain tires. The vehicle's traction level is always monitored via Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. This advanced system will send torque to the wheels during traction loss. This also equates to better vehicle stability.
Underneath the hood sits a Boxer engine to help you conquer the highways of Westborough. This direct-injected engine can tow an estimated 3,000 pounds. Up to 260 horsepower will be available, as well as 277 pound-feet of torque. This 2.4-liter engine just so happens to be turbocharged for instant acceleration. The SUV's drivetrain has been re-tuned to perform better during low-speed climbing. Outdoorsy individuals will find a lot of value in this off-road machine, but it will provide a smooth drive on the highway. The new Subaru Forester Wilderness is also equipped with redesigned roof rails, ideal for carrying more weight. An anodized copper finish accents the roof rails.
The overall exterior of this vehicle is very rugged, from its high wheel arches to its bold cladding that wraps around the lower body. An estimated five people can sit in the cabin on water-repellent upholstery. The rear seats have 60/40 split-folding function to make for better accommodation. There's an 8.0-inch multimedia display in the center dash, and it's loaded with applications. There's also smartphone integration.
