2024 Subaru SUVs

2024 Subaru Crosstrek

The Subaru Crosstrek is a small SUV with big versatility. It boasts surprisingly spacious accommodations, flexible cargo capacity, and a smooth ride. It's also more capable off-road than many class competitors, thanks to standard attributes like Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE® traction management, and 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek returns completely redesigned for its third generation, sporting a rugged new aesthetic, upgraded features, and an all-new Wilderness variant with strong off-road prowess. Wilderness models get increased ground clearance (9.2 inches), a dual-function X-MODE® system, protective cladding, and Yokohama® GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires. They have reinforced roof rails with a 700-pound static load limit – ideal for a rooftop tent. Plus, they can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Elsewhere in the lineup, a new 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto is standard on all but the base model.

2024 Subaru Forester

If you need something roomier than a subcompact while retaining city-friendly maneuverability, check out the Subaru Forester. This compact crossover is cozy, capacious, and well-equipped. It also delivers surefooted capability for all seasons, especially in its Wilderness variant.

The Subaru Forester remains unchanged for the 2024 model year. A full redesign is expected for 2025 with updated styling and a new hybrid powertrain option.

2024 Subaru Outback

A midsize crossover with roots as a wagon, the Subaru Outback delivers the best attributes of both. It's spacious and comfortable, with roomy passenger accommodations and ample cargo space. It's also easy to drive thanks to its balanced handling and smooth ride. Plus, with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE®, and signature Subaru DNA, the Subaru Outback is well suited to explore beyond the asphalt.

The Subaru Outback saw significant changes in 2022 and 2023, including a new Wilderness trim, refreshed styling, upgraded safety technologies, and an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The Outback carries over into 2024 with minimal changes apart from a more rugged look for the Wilderness trim.

2024 Subaru Ascent

Do you like the Subaru brand's adventurous character but need extra space and seatbelts for your larger family? The Subaru Ascent has you covered. This midsize three-row crossover offers spacious seating for seven or eight passengers, expansive cargo capacity, potent performance, and confident capability on or off the road.

The Subaru Ascent received an appreciable refresh in 2023, including an updated aesthetic, upgraded EyeSight® technology, and a newly standard 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. It also added the Onyx Edition Limited trim with sharp-looking dark-themed styling and premium tech upgrades. As such, the 2024 Subaru Ascent carries over with no changes.

2024 Subaru Cars

2024 Subaru Impreza

The Subaru Impreza is a versatile compact car with a cozy cabin, a flexible cargo area, appealing features, and an accessible price tag. It's also the only one in its class with standard AWD and one of just a few to offer it at all.

The Subaru Impreza is all-new for 2024, entering its sixth generation with a bold new look, upgraded features, and a new trim level with more performance. Additionally, the Impreza sedan has been discontinued in favor of the practical hatchback variant with impressive cargo space (20.4 – 56 cubic feet).

The base-model Impreza comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, and Subaru EyeSight®. All higher tiers get upgraded suspension tuning, integrated navigation, and an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

The all-new rally-inspired RS trim level gets sportier exterior styling and a 2.5-liter BOXER® engine with 182 horsepower – up 30 hp over the base 2.0-liter mill. It also adds premium amenities like wireless device charging, heated seats and side mirrors, and an available Harman Kardon audio system.

2024 Subaru Legacy

The Subaru Legacy is a well-rounded midsize sedan with spacious accommodations, desirable amenities, and excellent ride quality. It's also the segment's only mainstream model with standard all-wheel drive.

The Subaru Legacy saw a significant midcycle refresh in 2023, including sharper styling, upgraded EyeSight® technologies, and a 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER® engine as standard in Sport models (260 horsepower, 277 pound-feet of torque). For 2024, the Legacy bolsters the Sport trim level with a standard Harman Kardon premium audio system. Otherwise, the 2024 Legacy remains unchanged.

2024 Subaru WRX

While rally-bred sport compacts aren't as prevalent as in years past, the Subaru WRX ensures the segment remains alive and well for the generation of enthusiasts. The WRX boasts a punchy 271-horsepower BOXER® engine and standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for excellent grip on asphalt or gravel.

For 2024, Subaru resurrects the WRX's enthusiast-focused TR trim level. Historically, TR stood for "tuner ready" and was a stripped-down model intended for enthusiasts modders. While the current iteration remains an excellent tuning platform, the WRX TR includes many track-ready features out of the box. Highlights include a Brembo braking system, Recaro sport seats with Ultrasuede® upholstery, stiffer springs with revised damping, a re-tuned steering rack, and 19-inch Satin Gray wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 high-performance tires.

2024 Subaru BRZ

The Subaru BRZ is the automaker's only model without all-wheel drive. Instead, it leverages an expertly balanced, lightweight, rear-wheel-drive platform to deliver a delightfully engaging driving experience. Standard highlights include a 228-horsepower BOXER® engine, a fully synchronized 6-speed manual transmission, sport-tuned four-wheel independent suspension, and a TORSEN® limited-slip rear differential. The BRZ accomplishes its purpose so well that Car and Driver has named it a 10Best for three consecutive years (2022 – 2024).

For 2024, the Subaru BRZ expands on its winning formula with an all-new trim level ("tS") that adds common aftermarket modifications directly from the factory. Highlights include larger brake pads and rotors, STI-tuned Hitachi® suspension dampers, and unique 18-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot® Sport 4 performance tires. Subaru also makes EyeSight® driver aids standard on all models, even with the manual transmission.
